Half term has gone a bit crazy this week. I have had 2 lovely family portrait shoots and we were so lucky because the weather was kind to us. The sunny warm weather was a joy to be out in- has winter finally gone? Do we need to get out the suncream?! The location was glorious with so many beautiful flowers out. There was almost too much to choose from for our backgrounds- happy days and happy faces! This is a great time of year for natural light portrait photography- don't miss out! http://www.deborahpendell.com/contact
Yesterday, I did a shoot at Baythorne Hall Cookery School for their promotional materials. This is a wonderful development...the interior of this building has succeeded in mixing a beautiful old timber frame barn with slick contemporary design-I love it. There is also a rather wonderful wine shop there..yum yum....selling a lovely selection of great (and affordable!) wines and I am happy to report that we are not going to run out of Prosecco! Take a look at their website www.baythornehall.co.uk and support your local businesses!
I have also been working on some new work for book covers - I love doing the fine art portraits and I had a beautiful model.
This weekend is going to be a busy one too. I am shooting a Christening in Dublin which I am very excited about. It will be my first time in Dublin- I tried to take my Mum a few years ago for her birthday but the flight operator decided to go on strike so we never made it.
Keep an eye on my blog as when I have time to do some editing, I will post some of the pictures from this week's shoots.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
