Original Art

Ready to Hang on Board (See photos)

A monotype print on fine art paper mounted on board ready to hang and sealed with an archival varnish. This original artwork in acrylic paint is created by editing my photography of an old stamp into a 'stencil' which is applied to the printing plate once it is covered in paint (it's a tricky process to explain!). Most monotypes involve at least 2 different layers of paint- some many more.
