PERFECTLY IMPERFECT COLLECTION
In 2024, I extended my art practice to creating original, unique monotype artworks incorporating photographic imagery and graphics using acrylic paint.
What is a Monotype or Monoprint?
A monotype (sometimes called monoprint) means that only one print can be pulled from the printing plate once the final layer of paint is applied. Each print is unique and due to the handmade nature of the process, slight 'imperfections' are present- hence the name of my collection Perfectly Imperfect. Please see below some of the monotypes I currently have for sale.
My monotypes are made either on fine art paper or ready to hang board.
